We use the sport of boxing as a teaching tool. Boxers train, learn how to defend themselves and practices their skills. When competition day arrives, what separates them from their competitors is the strong belief and confidence in themselves. It is this confidence that allows athletes to have the physical and mental endurance for success.

It is the competitor’s ability to channel their belief, into a positive energy that allows them to push further, compete longer and to gain the win. More importantly than physical and mental endurance, is the ability to remain calm when faced with uncertainty and fear. Whether you are a student, new parent, CEO, small business owner, teacher, athlete, president or premier; we all face fear, defeat and challenges that set us back. It is in these moments that we discover our true strength; the DNA that makes us all unique, special, one of a kind. Our character is defined in these moments. When we are alone and scared, we have to choose to do better. To learn from our mistakes and actively decide the type of person we want to be.
